Federal University, Ebonyi” renamed “Alex Ekwueme University” by FG

The Federal Government has renamed the Federal University, Ebonyi as Alex EkwuemeUniversity, Ebonyi, Punch reports.

The renaming was reportedly announced by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, during the late former Vice-President’s burial service.

Ekwueme’s burial service took place at the St John, the Divine Church, Oko, Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
