Nigerian Music Producer and Sound Engineer TeeBeeO, just became the latest dad in town. The happy dad who made the announcement on social media, wrote;

A Nigerian lady and Instagram user, @smallieee_, has taken to the platform to call out her friend Abdulwasiu Feyishayo Mariam, who stole her money after giving her boyfriend her project money, and still assaulted her when she found out.
According to Smallieee who said she doesn’t do callouts on normal days, her friend claimed she has N15Million in her account, but still stole her money, Here’s what she wrote;

Some officials of seven state institutions found to have flouted various provisions of the Procurement Act, Act 2003 (Act 633), will soon face prosecution at the law courts.
This follows completion of investigations into how the state lost huge sums of cash through procurements made by the institutions involved.
“We are sending these reports and findings straight to EOCO for prosecution to begin,” Head of Corporate Affairs and Administration at the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) Mrs Rhoda Awurabena Appiah, disclosed on the Super Morning Show on Joy FM Wednesday.
The institutions include National Communications Authority (NCA), Bulk Oil Storage and Transport Limited (BOST), Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) and Ghana Water Company Limited.
The rest are National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) as well as Electoral Commission of Ghana.
According to Mrs Appiah, the PPA found personnel of some of the aforementioned institutions in some instances “tried to skew” contracts through various dubious means during the bidding process.
Some decide to advertise in very unpopular newspapers when the law says that it should be in two widely circulated newspapers” including advertising on “a holiday or a weekend in a corner somewhere,” she explained.
She said the PPA used to think the challenges were as a result of “institutional issues [or] capacity issues” and went ahead to commit resources to training the responsible officers without knowing they were deliberate crimes being perpetrated against the state.
Mrs. Appiah revealed that the introduction of “robust systems [including due diligence] to arrest some of these problems over the last eight months has begun yielding some juicy results including saving the nation over one hundred million cedis which otherwise would have ended up in the pockets of some unscrupulous persons.
“We have saved over 100 million Ghana cedis just within the last eight months all because we are able to see through the contracts that are brought [and] we know how padded they are.
“So contracts that would have gone for a 100 million cedis, we see that they are now going for 50million or something lesser just because some due diligence is going on now,” she told Kojo Yankson, host of the Show on the Corruption Watch psegment of the show.
The PPA official cautioned staff of public institutions who attempt to frustrate investigators from the PPA from doing their assigned duties must desist from such acts because “your mere effort to obstruct is punishable under the law.”
The “honeymooning” period she noted, is over.

The 14-member Council was inaugurated and sworn into office by Mr. Justice Richard Mac Kopyapwah, Acting Supervising High Court Judge, Koforidua, recently during the college’s 7 Matriculation and 3 Graduation ceremony at its main campus in Larteh-Akuapem in the Akuapem-North District of the Eastern Region.

In his acceptance speech, the Chairman of the Council said the Council would use all available means to resolve issues that might impede the college’s growth.

Actress Lydia Forson is not too certain about what would happen to Zimbabwe after the country’s president, Robert Mugabe, resigned.
According to the actress who was recently adjudged Africa’s best actress at the 2017 AFRIFF in Nigeria, examples of earlier countries that have faced a similar fate as Zimbabwe do not give her hope. But she prays Zimbabwe will be an exception.
“I’m not as interested in Mugabe’s resignation as I am with what comes after.
There are too many examples of countries that have been through this and turned out far worse off than they were with the “dictators” they did away with. I just hope Zimbabwe is the exception,” she said on Twitter ahead of Mugabe’s resignation.
Mugabe resigned as president of Zimbabwe on Tuesday November. A letter from Mr Mugabe said that the decision was voluntary and that he had made it to allow a smooth transfer of power, the Reuters news agency reported on Tuesday.
The surprise announcement halted an impeachment hearing that had begun against him.
Lawmakers roared in jubilation and people have begun celebrating in the streets.
Mr Mugabe had previously refused to resign despite last week’s military takeover and days of protests. He has been in power since independence in 1980.
What triggered the moves to oust him was his dismissal of Emmerson Mnangagwa as vice president two weeks ago.
That decision was seen by many as clearing the way for Mr Mugabe’s wife, Grace, to succeed her husband as leader. It riled the military leadership, who stepped in and put Mr Mugabe under house arrest.
Lydia says she does not support dictatorship. She abhors it as she does to western propaganda through media.
“For as long as we continue to wallow in blissful IGNORANCE!! We depend 100% on western media and their idea of who’s good/bad for us.
I’m not for dictatorship of any kind, but I despise it the same way I do western propaganda, neo colonialism and “re-colonialism” through media influence.”
“You can’t even speak openly about these things without western media misrepresenting it. They’ll gleefully talk about a leader oppressing his people, BUT NEVER their own continued “institutional” oppression of the African continent and black race as a whole.”

Celebrated Ghanaian actress Yvonne Okoro is outraged by reports of African migrants sold as slaves in Libya.
She described it as “insane” when she took to social media to vent her spleen over a recent video showing African migrants being sold into slavery.
“Slavery still ongoing. This is insane. Watching a human being being sold like chattel for $400 in Libya is absolutely ridiculous,” she said in a tweet.
The video has sparked a global outcry since Monday as protests erupted in Europe and Africa, while soccer stars to U.N. officials made impassioned pleas for the abuse to end.
The video shows two young men standing in the dark as an auctioneer shouts out prices in the footage published by CNN last week, appearing to sell them for the equivalent of about $400 each.
Reuters reported that protesters gathered outside the Libyan embassies in Paris and in African capitals, including Mali and Conakry, over the weekend and on Monday, according to local news reports. A similar protest is planned in London later this week.
In Ghana, many people took to social media to condemn the sale of migrants. Yvonne Okoro is one of Ghana’s top celebrities to express their worries.

Burna Boy
Nigerian dancehall singer and songwriter, Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy, was Monday declared wanted by the Nigerian police for questioning.
This was in connection with the robbery attack on fellow artiste, Mr 2kay, at Eko Hotel.
Mr 2Kay was robbed at gun point in his hotel room last month.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Olarinde Famous-Cole, confirmed to
DAILY POST that the Burna Boy has been told to report to any police station close to him.
Earlier, Police Commissioner Edgal Imohimi, during a press briefing, declared singer Burna Boy wanted over the incident.
He said, “Four armed robbers carried out the attack and detectives were able to arrest one of their girlfriends identified as ‘Matejero’. This led to the capture of the others.
“During interrogation, the robbers confessed that they were hired by Burna Boy through his manager, Joel Kantiock, who was arrested in Zaria, Kaduna State
“They confessed to receiving a part payment of N50, 000 before the job and another N50, 000 was paid to the robbers directly by Burna Boy when the job was done.
“At the moment, efforts to apprehend Burna Boy is proving futile but we count on him to make himself available for questioning immediately.”

Della Reese
‘Touched By An Angel’ star and singer Della Reese has died at age 86.
People magazine confirmed that Reese passed away on Sunday, November 19 following years of health struggles related to diabetes.
A TV star as well as a gospel and jazz performer, Reese began her career in the late 1950s, working with gospel great Mahalia Jackson while still in her teens and landing a signature hit in 1959 with the sweeping ballad ‘Don’t You Know’ from her 1960 album, ‘Della’ .
Deloreese Patricia Early was born in Detroit, Michigan, on July 6, 1931 and like many of the future stars from the Motor City began her career singing gospel music in church at an early age. Thanks to her preternaturally rich voice, Reese landed a gig at 13 with gospel icon Mahalia Jackson’s group, a stepping stone to her future ventures into music. While pursuing a Psychology degree at Wayne State University in Detroit, Reese formed the all-female gospel group, The Meditation Singers, one of the first acts of its kind to bring the sacred style to nightclubs in Las Vegas. After a stint in the Erskine Hawkins Orchestra, Reese signed a contract with Jubilee Records and released the top 20 hit
‘And That Reminds Me’ in 1957, as well as six albums of mostly jazz standards. Her career took off after signing with RCA Records thanks to the track that would become her signature, 1959’s ‘Don’t You Know’ — adapted from Puccini’s music for the opera La Bohéme — which went all the way to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 on R&B Songs, and scored her a Grammy nomination.
A series of successful albums followed, including 1962’s ‘The Classic Della’ and the next year’s ‘Waltz With Me, Della’ , which led to a nearly decade-long stint touring and performing in Vegas showrooms and two more Grammy nominations for a pair of gospel albums released in the 1990s.
By the late 1960s, Reese switched careers and began pursuing acting, including a talk/variety show called Della — the first of its kind to be hosted by a black woman —
which ran for nearly 200 episodes before its cancellation in March 1970. After becoming the first black woman to guest host The Tonight Show , Reese branched out into both sitcom and drama work, including recurring role on Chico and the Man, and guest spots in dozens of shows such as
The Mod Squad, Police Woman, McCloud, 227, Night Court, Designing Women, Charlie & Co. and The Royal Family. Her most iconic acting role came in 1994, when she took the lead as the ‘supervising angel’ in the CBS TV drama, ‘Touched By An Angel’ , playing one of three heavenly spirits who try to help the living persevere through tough times. Reese earned two Emmy nominations, as well as Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild noms during the series’ nine-season run, which ended in 2003.
